Your First Week

Getting your University Identification Number

The University "U" number is an 8-digit numerical identifier that is used in place of Social Security number at 鶹ý. Below are the instructions on how to find your UID number:

To access your UID, you will need to log into the portal.

  • Type your Pace username and password
  • Click 鶹ýLOGIN鶹ý
  • You will be directed to the Pace Portal homepage. Click on blue button 鶹ýEmployee Dashboard鶹ý on the top right.
  • Click on 鶹ýMy Profile鶹ý which is located under your name on the top left corner.
  • The University ID (UID) will be displayed on the left side of the screen under your name.

ID Photo Online Submission

Please do this after you have received your UID number and prior to arrival on Pace鶹ýs campus (on or after your hire date).

After activating your Pace account, your next step will be to upload a photograph through our online photo submission process that will be used for your official Pace Identification Card. Your Pace ID card will provide you with access to the campus.

Please keep in mind there are several select requirements that the photos must meet to get approval. Please visit the Online Photo ID Submission webpage to view the requirements.

When submitting your photo, please be sure that the full name and pace email address entered under the 鶹ýPǴھ鶹ý page matches the information given to Human Resources exactly. If not, you may experience some difficulty resulting in an error message.

Once submitted, an Auxiliary Services Staff member will review your photo submission within 48 hours. Once you receive an approval email, please visit the Auxiliary Services office on the campus closest to you. Below are the locations and contact information for each office. Parking Decals

(for Pleasantville and White Plains only)

After you have received your ID card, you can log into their parking account with your Pace credentials. On this site, you can add your vehicle details and select Get Permit to request a parking permit. Permit requests are fulfilled the following day (with the exception of weekends/holidays) and sent via mail to home address on record. Users also can update contact information and vehicle details 鶹ý adding new vehicles and requesting permits as needed.

The Classes LMS (Learning Management System) is used by faculty to manage course lectures, assignments, discussion boards, grades, and other online tools related to teaching.
