The MPA program partners with multiple academic and research institutions to provide students with executive training, access to key industry conferences, internships, and other valuable learning and networking opportunities.
- The Edwin G. Michaelian Institute for Public Policy and Management responds to the needs of the public and nonprofit sectors for governance and management training and development with public policy research and executive training.
- The Helene and Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship serves the needs of students and nonprofit organizations with education, research, communication, and advisory services, with the goal of promoting social change through entrepreneurship.
- Shot-term international study abroad offers our MPA candidates an opportunity to participate in a 10 day (wrapping around the weekend) 3-credit semester course at partnering institution University of Oxford. The program immerses students in comparative analysis and fosters global connections. For the past 20 years hundreds of our students have taken this course and benefited from this program, which provides our students a unique opportunity to see the world in a more structured and professional way.

Westchester County
Westchester County, home of the Department of Public Administration and the Michaelian Institute, provides all County and local government employees with the opportunity to apply for a Michaelian Scholarship for PaceÂ鶹´«Ã½™s MPA program as well as graduate programs in business, computer science, and nursing. Each academic year, the Westchester County Department of Social Services selects qualified employees to receive a full scholarship for the MPA program.

The Public Administration Department is a member of the The Department and its affiliate, the Michaelian Institute of Public Policy and Research, are also affiliated with the New York State and Westchester Municipal Managers Associations, the New York State Government Finance Officers Association, the Lower Hudson Valley Chapter of the .
Social Entrepreneurship Enrichment Series
In partnership with Â鶹´«Ã½Â鶹´«Ã½™s Helen and Grant Wilson Center for Social Entrepreneurship, the Edwin G. Michaelian Institute for Public Policy & Management, the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and the Lubin School of Business, students are offered an additional array of unique learning experiences and opportunities. These opportunities are open to all certificate and matriculated students.
For students in the Social Entrepreneurship sub-specialization in the Not-For-Profit Management Graduate Certificate Program, involvement in one of the following experiences is mandatory. Moreover, reflections of any of the above enrichment experiences are strongly suggested for inclusion in the culminating reflective portfolio submitted at the end of the program.
- Attendance at the Wilson Center Visiting Scholar Lecture Series for every semester that a student is in-residence (lectures are conducted once in both the Fall and Spring semesters);
- Participation as a contestant in the annual (December) Pace Pitch Contest, a University-wide competition involving the presentation of extremely concise entrepreneurial (social or profit) ideas;
- Participation as a contestant in the annual Pace Business Plan Competition;
- Attendance in three not-for-profit management workshops offered through the Â鶹´«Ã½-United Way Not-For-Profit Management Training Center;
- Active organization of and participation in a major project of the Pace Association for Collegiate Entrepreneurs (P.A.C.E.), Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) or other student organization involved with social entrepreneurship;
- Connect with any one the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems of 15 service-learning courses and analyze the impact of technology on a not-for-profit organization.
Students must submit documentation of satisfactory completion of one of the above enrichment experiences to the MPA departmental office to be made part of the studentÂ鶹´«Ã½™s file.
