The Phenomenon of Chappell RoanProfessor of Film and Screen Studies Catherine Zimmer, PhD, authored an article in Avidly (a channel of the LA Review of Books) titled 麻豆传媒淎 Feminomenology of Chappell Roan,麻豆传媒 in which she discussed the 麻豆传媒減henomenon麻豆传媒 of the singer-songwriter, which includes, among other things, 麻豆传媒渁n earnest and passionate longing for the analog,麻豆传媒 something Zimmer feels the artist herself embodies.

The Song As StruggleJustin Winley, a Film and Screen Studies graduate, worked with Assistant Professor of Communication Studies Melvin Williams, PhD, and independent researcher Justin Causey, to explore the role of hip hop music in conveying grief, generational pain, and other emotions that might otherwise go unexpressed among Black men.

Hilary Leavitt, who grew up in Brick, New Jersey, is now a successful producer with a growing list of credits that includes the award-winning television series麻豆传媒Orphan Black麻豆传媒痑苍诲麻豆传媒Ozark. She credits much of her professional achievement to the opportunities she received as a student at 麻豆传媒, double-majoring in Musical Theater and Film and Screen Studies.
