Standard Requirements
- Applicants must submit a completed application (Online only)
- All official college/university transcripts
- Proof of High School Graduation or Equivalency
- Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing - RN Licensure must be completed within the first two semesters of matriculation
- A minimum GPA of 3.0
Academic Pre- Or Co-Requisites
Completion of these courses or their equivalent at another accredited institution must have occurred prior to entering the program, or must be achieved during the program. In the latter case, these will be credits taken in addition to the prescribed Nursing degree curriculum. Competency in these courses is demonstrated by a grade of B- or above. Competency can also be demonstrated though CLEP or Pace Experiential Learning:
- ENG 110 Composition/ENG 120 Critical Writing
- PSY Introductory Course
- BIO 152 Anatomy and Physiology I
- BIO 153 Anatomy and Physiology II
- MAT or PSY Statistics
Associate Degree Graduates
- 68 credits may be transferred from an accredited Associate Degree or diploma program qualifying an individual to take the NCLEX-RN examination
- 52 credits will be taken at Pace
- 22 credits of liberal arts/pre-requisites courses
- 30 credits of Nursing courses
Non-Nursing Bachelor Degree Graduates
- 90 credits may be transferred in total to Pace
- 30 credits of Nursing courses will be taken at Pace
Transfer Credits
- Bachelor's Degree is valued at 120 credits
- Eligible students must have a minimum of 45 credits to apply
- Pace will accept up to 68 credits from an accredited 2-year college and up to 90 from an accredited 4- year college
- Transfer courses must be a grade of "C" or better
- Courses taken on a Pass/Fall basis will not be transferred
- A Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) will be sent to admitted students
