Medical Pharmacology for Physician Assistants, where you will develop skills related to the principles of pharmacology; Pathophysiology 1 for Physician Assistants, which covers the pathophysiology of common disease conditions affecting humans using a lifespan approach from pediatrics to geriatrics; and Surgery for Physician Assistants, a course designed as an overview of basic surgical concepts, including the appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative management of surgical patients.

Building upon the core competencies of the physician assistant profession, this curriculum exposes you to an interdisciplinary didactic and clinical curriculum. You�鶹��ý�ll learn the process of critical thinking as it pertains to being an exemplary physician assistant, a skill fundamental to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses. Add Opportunities and Experiences

Students in our program learn anatomy through the use of a virtual cadaver lab and practice their physical exam skills in our state-of-the-art Center for Excellence in Healthcare Simulation.
