The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹��ý proudly co-hosted the New Directions in Environmental Law Conference (NDEL) held at Yale Law School in New Haven, CT on February 15, 2025. This year's conference analyzed changes and emerging issues in environmental law in a collaborative atmosphere. Organized by students from Haub Law, Yale Law School, Yale School of the Environment, and Vermont Law & Graduate School, the event featured insightful discussions on pressing environmental issues.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹��ý is proud to announce the appointment of an accomplished leadership team to continue to guide its top ranked Environmental Law Program into the future. Haub Distinguished Professor of Environmental Law, Katrina Fischer Kuh, will serve as Faculty Director of the Environmental Law Program. Achinthi C. Vithanage, Professor of Law for Designated Service in Environmental Law and Associate Director of Environmental Law Programs, will assume the role of Executive Director of the Environmental Law Program. Additionally, Josh Galperin, Associate Professor of Law, will take on the role of Faculty Director of the Sustainable Business Law Hub.

For nearly 25 years, �鶹��ý's Elisabeth Haub School of Law has partnered with Yale University to create one of the most unique and impactful joint degree programs in the world.

�鶹��ý was recently awarded $476,000 from the to support a three-year interdisciplinary initiative, Islands, Archipelagos, and Cultural Ecologies. The project will advance environmental justice and the environmental humanities at Pace, building on the university�鶹��ý�s strengths in experiential learning and place-based education.

On November 6, Professor Justin Pidot of the University of Arizona delivered the annual Gilbert and Sarah Kerlin Lecture on Environmental Law at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹��ý, speaking on �鶹��ý�Environmental Justice at the White House.�鶹��ý�

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at �鶹��ý proudly awarded the prestigious 2024 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy to Singapore�鶹��ý�s Ambassador for International Law, Rena Lee, and Kristina Maria Gjerde, Senior High Seas Advisor to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
