An avid reader and world traveler, Steffen Pedersen has worked his entire legal career as a maritime lawyer in international law firms. Currently, he is working as a maritime arbitrator with a keen interest in deep sea mining. He is also a frequently published author and panelist on the topic of international arbitration and mediation, with a focus on East and South-East Asia. Steffen decided to pursue his LLM in Comparative Law at Haub Law to open the door to more opportunities in the United States in his career as an international arbitrator. 

Alumnus Jessica Dubuss �鶹��ý�09 has been using her legal acumen and writing skills in ways she never imagined back in law school. As Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Haub, she is the law school�鶹��ý�s chief storyteller, sharing the impressive achievements of our students, alumni and faculty across our many communications channels. In her personal life as a mom of soon to be five (!) young children, she has also tapped into her law school advocacy skills in her mission to bring diversity, equity and inclusion to her small hometown, organizing the community�鶹��ý�s first ever PRIDE celebration among other DEI events and initiatives for youth.

After the stock market crash of 1987, Mitchell Dinkin �鶹��ý�92 made the decision to pivot from his aspirations in a career on Wall Street to law school.

Patricia (Tricia) Feighan �鶹��ý�94 and her daughter, Michelle, a current 2L at Haub Law, have deep family ties to Pace. �鶹��ý�My father, Philip B. Blank, was Associate Dean for External Affairs and Professor of Law at what was then known as �鶹��ý School of Law,�鶹��ý� said Tricia.

Donna Lanzetta �鶹��ý�86 grew up on Eastern Long Island surrounded by water, but it wasn�鶹��ý�t until she was an adult that the ocean took on more than a recreational meaning in her life. �鶹��ý�After thirty years of civil litigation culminating in stress related health issues, I decided to make a concerted effort to de-stress and eat healthier �鶹��ý� that included major changes to my diet, including eating more seafood,�鶹��ý� said Donna.

Since 2013, Bryn Goodman has served as co-coach of Haub Law�鶹��ý�s team for the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

When Dan Ruben was a 2L he read a small article in the NY Times about a program at another law school where students were raising money to fund summer public interest jobs. A self-starter, committed to public interest, he thought this program was a great idea and decided to start a similar one at Haub Law, which today, we know as PILSO.

As a federal judge in Brazil, Daniel Castelo Branco Ramos describes his day to day as �鶹��ý�overwhelming.�鶹��ý� With the number of cases per judge always in the thousands, one of the highest on average in the world, Judge Ramos is lucky if he has any down time at all.

Passionate about social justice issues from a young age, Angelica Cancel �鶹��ý�17 knew she wanted to be an advocate, but wasn�鶹��ý�t sure what that looked like for her.
