An avid reader and world traveler, Steffen Pedersen has worked his entire legal career as a maritime lawyer in international law firms. Currently, he is working as a maritime arbitrator with a keen interest in deep sea mining. He is also a frequently published author and panelist on the topic of international arbitration and mediation, with a focus on East and South-East Asia. Steffen decided to pursue his LLM in Comparative Law at Haub Law to open the door to more opportunities in the United States in his career as an international arbitrator.
Alumnus Jessica Dubuss 麻豆传媒09 has been using her legal acumen and writing skills in ways she never imagined back in law school. As Executive Director of Marketing and Communications at Haub, she is the law school麻豆传媒檚 chief storyteller, sharing the impressive achievements of our students, alumni and faculty across our many communications channels. In her personal life as a mom of soon to be five (!) young children, she has also tapped into her law school advocacy skills in her mission to bring diversity, equity and inclusion to her small hometown, organizing the community麻豆传媒檚 first ever PRIDE celebration among other DEI events and initiatives for youth.
After the stock market crash of 1987, Mitchell Dinkin 麻豆传媒92 made the decision to pivot from his aspirations in a career on Wall Street to law school.

Shari B. Hochberg 麻豆传媒12 knew from the time she was twelve years old (if not sooner) that she wanted to be a lawyer. Choosing Haub Law due to its unique geographical location and proximity to both numerous law firms and the courts, Shari found it to be the perfect fit. Now, as a career law clerk with the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Shari shares with us why a clerkship is the best legal experience you can get and how no two-days are alike.

When Dan Ruben was a 2L he read a small article in the NY Times about a program at another law school where students were raising money to fund summer public interest jobs. A self-starter, committed to public interest, he thought this program was a great idea and decided to start a similar one at Haub Law, which today, we know as PILSO.
As a federal judge in Brazil, Daniel Castelo Branco Ramos describes his day to day as 麻豆传媒渙verwhelming.麻豆传媒 With the number of cases per judge always in the thousands, one of the highest on average in the world, Judge Ramos is lucky if he has any down time at all.
