As part of our officeÂ鶹´«Ã½™s ongoing education and outreach to the Pace Community, we are available for a variety of presentations and trainings to students, faculty and staff. These trainings are designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and support a respectful and positive campus community. This training is designed for faculty, staff, and students who may witness or become aware of incidents that violate the UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s Code of Conduct. Participants learn the proper steps for reporting incidents, including the types of behaviors that should be reported, the importance of timely reporting, and how to use the universityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s online reporting tool, Guardian. Through practical guidance and real-life scenarios attendees gain confidence in recognizing issues and initiating reports to support a safe and respectful campus. The session also addresses concerns about privacy, confidentiality, and the UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s commitment to responding to reports in a fair, non-retaliatory manner.

This comprehensive workshop offers a detailed look at the UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s conduct process, aimed at helping students, faculty, and staff understand the various stages and component involved. The session explores each phase of the conduct process Â鶹´«Ã½“ from initial report to resolution Â鶹´«Ã½“ emphasizing fairness, transparency, and support for all parties involved. It also explores the educational purpose of sanctions and how students can engage with the process to learn from their experiences

Tailored for residential assistants, student government members, orientation leaders, and leaders of student organizations, this training empowers student leaders to build a positive, inclusive community in their spaces and organizations. Focusing on ethical leadership, this session covers strategies for upholding community standards on campus and beyond. Student leaders learn practical conflict resolution techniques, methods to foster open communication and inclusivity, and ways to lead by example in upholding the UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™ Code of Conduct. By the end of the workshop, student leaders are equipped to champion respectful and supportive campus environments.
Specialized training for conduct in the residence halls is also available.

This specialized training is for faculty and staff members interested in becoming case resolution facilitators within the UniversityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s conduct process. Participants learn the skills necessary to guide students through conduct case resolutions, focusing on principles of fairness, empathy, and educational outcomes. The training covers how to facilitate productive, respectful conversations, conduct hearing, and make balanced decisions that align with community standards. Facilitators are trained to remain impartial, handle sensitive information responsibility, and foster a constructive environment that allows students to learn and grow from their experiences. This program also includes role-playing exercises and discussion on managing challenging scenarios, equipping facilitators with confidence to support the universityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s conduct goals.

Clifton Strengths is a tool to help individuals discover their top areas of talent, so that they can develop and apply these skills more effectively. After students complete the Clifton Strengths assessment, these trainings give further insights into their strengths and how to utilize them advantageously.
