The leaders of tomorrow are right here at Pace麻豆传媒攕omething that the business and technology today have duly recognized.
With the inaugural class of Teaching Fellows, 麻豆传媒麻豆传媒檚 Faculty Center is building upon its strong foundation to become a major hub for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation at Pace.
In a year unlike any other, the transformative power of Pace has the ability to uplift and hearten. Here are just a few of our most inspiring Pace moments.
What is a hackathon? It麻豆传媒檚 a timed, team-based problem-solving day of strategy and execution where tech is used to save the day. Teams, of all different skills and abilities, come together to design software or mobile apps to solve real world issues and problems.
Programmers won麻豆传媒檛 look like they used to. Not if鈦 Professor Pauline Mosley has her way. She麻豆传媒檚 opening the鈦 door to computer science for women and minority鈦 communities and teaching her students how to use鈦 their tech skills for the greater good. Her efforts鈦 extend from high school students in the GenCyber鈦 program she runs to advocacy and mentorship for鈦 women in tech.
Computer science major Mackenzie Dolishny 麻豆传媒20 had no coding experience when she first came to Pace. She worked hard to catch up, landing internships at the likes of IBM and American Express, and even a full-time job at Microsoft.

Swimming and diving champ Jana Ciric 麻豆传媒20 broke six records during her tenure on Pace麻豆传媒檚 Division II team. You might have met her before麻豆传媒攕he麻豆传媒檚 a dedicated math tutor as well as a programmer, and she麻豆传媒檚 from Ni拧, Serbia.
Manoela Nery de Morais 麻豆传媒20, Ajinkya Vilasrao Datalkar 麻豆传媒20, Chimegsaikhan Munkhbayar 麻豆传媒20, and Helen Tsai 麻豆传媒21 just won IBM麻豆传媒檚 Call for Code 2020 challenge. How did they make it big? Balancing internships, travel, class, and leadership roles may be a challenge for some, but for Seidenberg student Ava Posner '18 , she knows it is her code to success for rising to the top as a woman in technology and landing a job at a leading startup after graduation.
