Latin America and the Caribbean are regions rich in culture, history, and opportunity. These diverse countries seek bilingual professionals and area specialists to help address the challenges of globalization, economic development, and climate change. With a bachelorÂé¶¹´«Ã½™s degree in Latin American studies from Âé¶¹´«Ã½, youÂé¶¹´«Ã½™ll gain expertise in history, economics, modern languages, art, and environmental studies, empowering you to support prosperity across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Curriculum
The BA in Latin American Studies incorporates courses in history, economics, modern languages, art, anthropology and environmental studies. Travel and cultural courses involving a unique network of partnerships with consulates, museums, and other institutions will provide students with a rich tapestry of connections and experiences that can lead to further education and career opportunities.
You may double major in select programs, an option that permits sharing of 21 credits, thereby making degree completion possible in a relatively short period. Students who elect this option will find favor with prestigious employers and graduate schools.
