The Global Asia Studies program at Â鶹´«Ã½ offers a dynamic curriculum that blends history, politics, literature, and cultural studies to give students a deep understanding of AsiaÂ鶹´«Ã½™s global influence. Courses like Japanese Manga and Anime and Non-violent Activism in Asia allow students to explore diverse perspectives, while film-centered classes provide a unique lens into social and political movements.
Expect hands-on experience through language instruction, independent research, and internships at New York CityÂ鶹´«Ã½™s Asian cultural institutions, all of which enhance professional skills. Partnerships with PaceÂ鶹´«Ã½™s history department and Global Asia Institute provide valuable resources and mentorship to support expertise.
Graduates are prepared for a variety of careers in international business, law, government, and cultural exchange, with many advancing to secure fellowships or pursue graduate studies in Asia.

The BA in Global Asia Studies advances a cross-cultural understanding of Asia and the world and prepares professionals for graduate school, careers in government and international organizations, or employment in a globalized economy. In addition, recent graduates have been awarded fellowships to pursue their graduate education in China, South Korea, and Taiwan.
