Biography

Coral Ayestaran Matar is a proven leader in health care, public health, and education with over 28 years of experience. She possesses a unique set of skills and knowledge with extensive experience in achieving operational and financial excellence, translating challenges into positive outcomes, building collaborative cultures and partnerships with stakeholders, facilitating help-seeking actions of students and vulnerable populations, and improving the public health of communities. She is a professional with a passion to improve patient, employee and student experiences and strengthen relationships with communities.

Coral has a long working history at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Health System where she served as the pediatric chief of administration and emergency unified administrator, at Albert Einstein, and pediatric director of administration, and emergency medicine director of Finance and Administration at Montefiore, among other roles. She is currently the womenÂ鶹´«Ã½™s health administrative director, for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the Westchester Medical Health System and network.

She is bilingual in Spanish and English, proficient in French, and loves to travel, hike, kayak, and help others.
